MÜL was established in Norway, 2000 as a one-man doom metal project, primarily influenced by the great, but forgotten Sevenchurch and Winter's timeless Into Darkness/Eternal Frost. Later direct influences were Funeral, Skepticism, Corrupted, Esoteric, Cathedral, Earth, early Anathema, early My Dying Bride, Grief, Khanate, Reverend Bizarre, Electric Wizard, Neurosis, Disembowelment, early Tangerine Dream, early Isis, Saint Vitus, Shape of Despair, Eyehategod and so on.

All my music has been non-profit and internet only, except for a few CD-Rs of Litany Circus. I don't really mind never having entered the music business except for vaster communication with interested souls. There is a definite ambition to create a concert line-up for MÜL, but this would probably not include older material, and any potential musicians would have to be properly scanned using my Doom-a-Tron-o-Matic scanner, which works extremely slowly. Just kidding. I think.
